Comprehensive Space legislation is India’s ultimate need, as India begins to take Its leap into the world market, Space technology cannot be left far behind. India being a developing country can be proudly placed along with the developed countries such as United States and Russia. However for India to grow, it must expand its sectors to private companies and investors to provide better technology or collaboration to move forward in a competitive world market. Countries like Canada, Germany and Ukraine, which have not progressed as much in space technology have a carefully drafted legal framework. Thus it is evident that in order for strengthening the position in the Global space sector India needs a comprehensive law.
